According to an article written in the New York Times by Michael S. Schmidt, The Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al- Maliki spokesmen announced that their would be a reopening of a 2006 investigation involving United States troops who were considered responsible for the death of an iraqi family in the town of ishadi. This was made possible due Wikilinks making public a dipolomatic cable that a united nations senior officer had basically blackmailed the U.S with his knowledge of what they had down to the family. The name of the United Nation offcial was Philip Alston, and from his written account their had been autopsies done. Apparently five of the victims were nothin more than mere children( age 5 or less). which ironically the military goverment had viewed as nothin but a shameful rumor under false pretest. The ongoing question is rather this latest revelation will put the U.S and Iraq at even more odds or that things will just stay the same as expected.
Aren't you a little bit fed up with Wiki Links always meddling in United State Goverment affairs ? Thier are just some Secrets that should be kept for the benefit and stabaility of the citizens. An investigation has already been done over five years ago on the matter and it can be assured that if another one was to take place once again the result will be the same. Our sole purpose is to bring democracy to the people of Iraq, not to oppress. We are not villians as wikilinks have portrayed us over the last couple of years.
It seems to me that this possible revelation of the United States possibly taking part in the execution of the family over 5 years ago wont really make much of a diffrence really. The only ones really makinga fuse about it is the prime minister himself. Even the father of the family is indiffrent to the revelation, all he wishes is to be dead as well buried along side them. If you ask me the wikilinks have acted in a way like Modern Day Jesuits. And what I mean by that is that they seek the truth and they want those truths to be be spread for everyone to know. While The United States whetehr they are found guilty or not come out to me as being Like the old Catholic church of Martin Luther's time. A corrupted and secretive organazation that has lost sight of what they once were. Just another example of the hero transforming into the villian.
