The Real Meaning of freedom of Speech When It comes To America

Ever Since The dreaded Date of 9/11 America has been in constant of paranoia when it comes to the possibility of musilm "terrorist" born in this very country giving out intel to Al Quaida etc about our goverment secrets and plans. It has gotten to the point where scholors of muslim descent who have opposed the United States actions folllowing 9/11 have been targeted secretly. An example this can be traced back to this past Sepetember when Anwar al-Awlaki was assasasinated by a drone attack. Anwar al-Awlaki was an engineer, and was considered a major threat by the United States because he was apparently had a high ranking in the islamic militant group of Al Quaida. As well as posting a plethora of youtube videos, blogs etc that blasted the U.S, and for the "Osama Bin Laden of the Internet". The dilema is tho despite Anwar al-Awlaki had posted many anti- american propaganda didn't he have a right since he was an american and had the right of freedom of speech  ? Isn't that one of the perks of this country that makes it great ?

Sure Freedom Of Speech is one of our countries must valued amendment and should stay as such. However, thier does come a time in which freedom of speech should be used wisely. Although Anwar al-Awlaki was indeed a U.S citizen and was educated for the most part here in this great country. Over the last several years he has veheminetly diplayed a strong distaste for us and even went so far to Yemen for lord knows how many times to conspire and give intel about his own goverment that keeps him safe at night. That is a very bold and disrespectful thing to do, especially in a Post-911 America. The man even went as far as marking our own American soliders sexual orientations !! " No respect, No respect at all "

In conclusion I believe that the United States had no right to kill Anwar al-Awlaki based on simply suspicions and allegations. It only showed how truly hypocrticial and paranoid we really are behind our bravado. Anwar al-Awlaki was an American and just like the rest of us had ever right to speak his mind o matter what even if his idealogy opposed our countries own in regards of our Post 9/11 actions. It makes you wonder if they could simply do that to one man what would they do if their was supossedly 10,000 citizens who was uder suspions for plotting something ? Would they try to exterminate those 10,000 "Threats" as an the end justify the means type deal ? A damn shame how our goverment is just strating to break apart from WITHIN. What's the point of having the amendment in the first place if you can't speak your peace without someone trying to get you GOT ?
